All Free iPad Video Converter is a free video converter. It comes preloaded with a few conversion profiles optimized for the Apple iPad. It can also convert files to AVI, MP4, and FLV files. For each format that you select, there will be different conversion profiles, which vary in quality.
This converter uses a wizard to guide users through the two simple steps required to convert a file. The first thing that you need to do is tell the application which file or files you want to convert. You can add as many files as you want to your conversion queue. The next step consists in selecting the output format. Here are two buttons: Video and Devices. If you select Devices, you will see that the iPod, iPhone, AppleTV, and iPad are supported. These devices all support the MPEG-4 and h.264 codecs, so those are the formats used for these profiles.
In my testing, I added both an FLV and an MKV file to the program and selected the iPad High Quality profile, which encoded files using H.264 for video and AAC for audio. The files were converted well, and I didn't notice any audio or video problems.
